Farah Vintage Stylish Clothing!!!

Farah Vintage the old school classic favourite is now back as a major player in the lads casual fashion scene. Favoured back in the 80s on the terraces of many football grounds around the country the legendary orange Farah F logo is back on lads chest pocket of shirts, breast of knitwear and back pocket of slacks.

Again some of the trendy match going lads are slipping into Farah Vintage clothing perhaps worn years back by their dads or uncles, even some of the older boys are buying a bit and trying to relive their youth in the clothing that they used to scrap in at the match or cut some rug in on a Saturday night at the local night club.

Farah had always had a following from the other trendy lads away from the match and this is so today with Farah Vintage as many of the cool kids about town are also wearing Polo Shirts, Jumpers, Shirts and Slacks from the classic casual clothing brand.

So whether youre a match going young casual or just a stylish lad about town trying to catch the eye of the ladies with a bit of Farah Vintage on youre going to be looking the part!!!!!

Sergio Tacchini Casual Tennis Chic!!!!!!

Sergio Tacchini has been an Italian Davis Cup Champion from 1959 to 1966, the year he set up the company Sergio Tacchini to produce and distribute sports clothing and footwear. He started out by providing clothing for his former team mates and put colour onto Sergio Tacchini tennis tracksuit tops, polo shirts and shorts for the first time.

In the seventies, the first coloured tennis-wear collection makes its appearance at Wimbledon when an unforgettable Jimmy Connors wins the tournament. In 1978 comes great intuition: Sergio Tacchini secure an 8-year clothing contract with the rising star of world tennis John McEnroe. In the eighties the sponsorship permits Sergio Tacchini to gain placing on the international market: Ille Nastase, Vitas Gerulatis, Mats Wilander, Pat Cash, Pete Sampras and Gabriela Sabatini are just some of the testimonials who have contributed to taking
Sergio Tacchini brand to the top of the tennis world.

Sergio Tacchini also dressed the best in the business in many other areas of the sports world. Another major scene of the sports world was the terraces of many football clubs in the eighties, soccer casuals from every corner of England and Scotland would don their Sergio Tacchini Tracksuit Tops, Polo Shirts and other clothing on a Saturday afternoon for the match in awe, to out-dress rival supporters.

Away from the world of sports many cool icons including various bands starting and following retro sportswear fashions have regularly been seen swaggering around in the famous Sergio Tacchini label.

Sergio Tacchini is again looked upon as a must have cool clothing brand for dressers old and young. Nick Loves hit film The Business featured Sergio Tacchini Clothing very heavily not many Scenes went by when Danny Dyer or Tamer Hassan weren’t wearing a Sergio Tacchini Tracksuit Top, Polo Shirt, Shorts or some item of clothing. Love did it again recently with his remake of the 80s classic football hooligan film The Firm, this was any vintage sportswear fans dream with some of the rarest and most sought after Sergio Tacchini clothing on display throughout the film.

Garbstore Clothing!!!

Garbstore, Ian Paley’s clothing line is in actual fact a three dimensional creative exercise compromising the men’s wear clothing line, a store as well as the Garbstore website. Ian Paley is the founder & designer of seminal British label One True Saxon, Senior Designer for Paul Smith Jeans, Red-Ear, R.Newbold and Thomas Burberry & Levi’s Strauss. Garbstore aspires to be and draws its influence from what can be coined unfamiliar Vintage.

The Vintage references are both obvious and subliminal. Garbstores Collection is based on Ian’s passion for casual clothing started to be produced after the Second World War with a more formal quality than before. The sensation of finding dead stock perfect vintage clothing and include some vintage parts or reference points, is one of his rules. All Garbstore products are made using only vintage union machines and are in terms of their fit reproductions from genuine vintage clothing.

Fila Vintage Always A Casual Lads Brand!!!

The term "casuals" has been synonymous with British football hooliganism since at least the 1980s so it is perhaps surprising to see it used to market clothing inside football grounds.

Back in August 2009 Advertising hoardings at England's friendly in Amsterdam carried the legend: "Fila: Icon Of The Casuals".

This is part of a wider marketing campaign and, with a plug on its official website for a remake of the 1988 football-hooligan movie, The Firm, Fila is clearly aware of the football-violence connotations of the word, and explains how "rival gangs, known as firms, and their members described as 'casuals', wore brightly coloured sportswear".

The FA pointed out that the advertising hoardings at the match had been sold by its Dutch counterpart through a third-party agency. But a spokesman added: "We have a very strong stance on hooliganism; we are held as a standard bearer across the world."

The campaign by Fila, which did not return calls, does not seem to sit well with the demure reputation of the game.

Fila has been a long standing casual brand and is now today back at its best with the latest Fila Vintage Collection comprising of Tracksuit Tops, Polo Shirts, Shorts and Other Clothing. Whatever is deemed politically correct these days Fila is a sportswear clothing brand and will always be associated with the match and loved by match going lads!!!!

A Bit Of Slazenger Nostalgia!!!

It wasn't just pro golfers and young lads at the match that used to wear Slazenger you know.

Sir Sean Connery sported a very tasty looking Slazenger V neck knit jumper as James Bond in the classic Goldfinger back in 1964.

46 years down the line the Slazenger Heritage Gold clothing looks just as good as it did back then so if you fancy yourself as a bit of a casual dresser or as a more swarve Bond style character you'll get the true look with any piece of the new collection whether you go for as Polo Shirt, V Neck Jumper or Cardigan.

Norsea Industries Now In Stock!!!
Norsea Industries gear is now live on the website and we think it's one of the nicest new brands we've seen for a while!!!

There's the Sikker Overshirt which is a cotton twill overshirt with 2 button fastening chest pockets and double fastening detail, we've got it in Navy and Olive.
The Haven Denim Smock is a 3 button fastening smock in unwashed premium denim with 2 large pockets on the front and would look pretty awesome teamed with a nice pair of chinos. Ideal for a summer evening is the Marine Stripe Knit T Shirt in blue and white stripe cotton knit with button fastening to the left shoulder giving it a real breton look.
To us the jewel in the crown is the Rudda Cagoule Jacket in cotton canvas with zip fastening neck, chest pouch pocket and 2 lower button fastening pockets and drawstring to hood and waist. An ideal jacket for the match or in the hills and available in Orange and Washed Black!!!

Hopefully you'll agree that these boys at Norsea Industries have got it bang on with this clobber!!!!
